HELP! How do I transfer Hotmail archives to Gmail?

I just set up a Gmail account and want to do away with Not-so-Hot-mail altogether. Only one problem... I have like 10 years worth of email messages on there that I need to move to my Gmail account. I've found a couple of blog tutorials (Zoli Erdos and Scott Hanselman), but (1) they're old, (2) they're not nearly detailed enough, and/or (3) they're not relevant to my particular situation. Does anyone have any advice, or know anyone who would know, who could help me out?
