Scot McKnight on Christopher Wright on the Problem of Evil
Scot blogged today on probably THE biggest challenge to the Christian belief system, and one I wrestle with almost constantly. I look forward to reading Wright's book when it is released.
This quote from McKnight about sums it up: "for the Christian who believes God is good and sovereign, the presence of evil — moral, personal, structural — is a problem."
Not an unsolvable one, but one that requires at least a defensible answer (1 Peter 3:15), which, unfortunately, is often lacking.
What "apologetic(s)" have helped you personally to reconcile this issue?
